We acquired an expansive rural property which has quietly become something of a spiritual retreat for us, and for now we are considering opening it to small groups for the same purpose—without assumptions, timelines, or plans for more until such time as God gives us clarity.
Spiritual Ecotherapy
Perched high atop a bucolic vista in one of Central Pennsylvania’s most majestic mountain regions, imagine waking up to a breathtaking panoramic view while inhaling crisp, fresh air. This serene environment is the perfect place to foster a deeper connection with God.
Group Activities
Simple activities and shared experiences could take shape here — not as scheduled programs, but as natural expressions of rest, fellowship, and life in God’s creation. If such moments emerge, they will do so in response to God’s leading and the people He brings.
Held In Prayer
We believe God is forming something here — beginning with us. At this stage, we are not asking for financial support or commitment, but for prayer. Pray that we would remain attentive, restrained, and obedient — ready to receive God’s direction rather than assume it.
Current Progress
A pole barn, electric service, well, and septic sytem are in place. Any further development — whether restrooms, temporary sites, landscaping, or a shared gathering space — will depend on the Lord’s guidance and clarity, not our timelines or assumptions.
A Place to Pause
This place has stirred our hearts, but we are choosing to wait on God rather than move ahead on our own enthusiasm. We would value prayer—that He would prepare our hearts and minds to receive His direction, and that we would follow His will faithfully when it becomes clear.
